Green olives are picked and then brined before they have had a chance to completely vine ripen, their flavor is slightly bitter and they have a firm and meatier texture than a black olive.
Our Imported Green Sicilian Olives have been hand stuffed with spicy Jalapeno peppers. The salty earthy olives and the spicy Jalapeno pepper balance each other out, and neither flavor is overpowering on your palette.
Serve these Olives as part of a dramatic cheese tray, or to add another layer of interesting flavor, wrap them in puff pastry and bake until golden brown, then they will be beautiful and delicious enough to serve as a passed appetizer.
