Customer Reviews

Farm raised white sturgeon caviar from California. This caviar is characterized by its large grain, dark color and its buttery flavor. Caviar is harvested from sturgeon raised in compliance with all animal welfare laws.

The images that the word caviar invokes are luxurious and sumptuous, with all concepts of what you want versus what you need disappearing as you are only left with what you enjoy. This caviar, harvested from the White Sturgeon, also known as the American Osetra is aqua-farm raised in California. The dark eggs of the White sturgeon, also sometime referred to as ‘classic’ are large and a deep color black. As the beads first hit your palette, a salty flavor and clean feeling take over. As they begin to pop, they coat your tongue with their nutty flavoring and buttery texture.

Caviar is a versatile ingredient and a little goes a long way. A small spoonful of pearls a top an elegant canapé will give infuse your dish with a salty sense of opulence that is truly intoxicating. Some flavors and food that caviar will compliment nicely include fish, shellfish and eggs. To accentuate the texture of the caviar, try including them on the backdrop of a creamy ingredient, like the smooth center of a deviled egg, or a dollop of whipped cream cheese atop of a bit of smoked salmon.
