Our Soft Shell Crab are harvested fresh from the Chesapeake Bay and are dressed and cleaned with the lungs, mouth and face behind the eyes removed. This cuts down on prep time and ensure proper preparation of the crab. Soft shells are a universal favorite, with a sweet and mild, briny flavor.
Try them pan fried, sauteed, grilled or broiled to preserve a crisp outer layer.
Complimentary flavors include: basil, butter, coconut, coriander, cumin, curry, garlic, ginger, lemon, lime, macadamia, mint, olive oil, parsley, red chiles, scallion, tarragon, tomato, white wine.
Soft Shell Crab are frozen and should be kept frozen until ready to cook.
