Our Chesapeake Style Crab balls are made from large lump and backfin crab meat. They are bite sized and perfect for serving before dinner. Pan fry or deep fry until golden brown.
For entertaining in a hurry, our Chesapeake Style Crab Balls will be sure to impress even the most particular crowd. These crab balls are made with the same delicious ingredients and filled with the same delicious flavors as our crab cakes, but are a much smaller, bite sized option.
These tasty appetizers are made with restaurant quality large lump and backfin crab meat. They are loaded with meaty crab texture and flavor and low on starchy binders.
Before serving our delicious crab balls, thaw them in the fridge and then choose to either pan or deep fry them. If you are pan frying, sauté them in oil and butter for about three minutes on each side over medium heat. To deep fry, cook them in 350F degree oil for about five minutes. If you are cooking them straight out of the freezer, allow for a longer cooking time and always be sure to heat them to an internal temperature of 165F degrees to ensure safe eating.
