Jarlsberg is a part skim cow's milk cheese that can is usually classified as a Swiss cheese because the two share so many characteristics. Jarlsberg has a light nutty flavor and large irregular holes, or eyes, running through its paste. d like to include it as apart of a cheese platter, it doesn't need much help to be delicious. Just offer some crusty bread, some dried fruit and maybe a little bit of jam to bring out its sweetness. It's wonderful for slicing and snacking on all by itself. It's also perfect for salads or pasta dishes. It melts very well is goes wonderfully in a pressed sandwich or a quiche.
